This Friday, 5th of March, Churn has our separate groups night. Each year group split into boys and girls and do their own thing. It is going to be a fantastic night, but don’t turn up at the church, because each group is going somewhere different. If you didn’t get a note, make sure you call the office on 43672100 or Dale on 0412012611 for all information about the night!

With EV Youth being cancelled this week, there has been some worry that Churn has also been cancelled. But rest assured kids in years 4-6 will still be able to have fun this Friday 19th Feb. Just a reminder 5pm at EV Church (331 Terrigal Dr). $5 includes a yummy dinner. This week is a T-Theme, so help your kids dress up as something starting with the letter T. It will be a great night!!

Churn is on again this term. It starts this Friday, the 23rd of October. It goes from5-7pm, costs $5, and is at Erina High School. It is for kids in years 4-6 at school, and they will have fun hanging out, playing games, learning from the Bible and eating dinner. Make sure your kids don’t miss out.

The trend continues!!! Here is my second blog right on target. I am excited!!!
I mentioned last week that Tubular the lunch time group at Erina Heights would be
starting last Friday, due to unexpected circumstances we had to put it off a week and
it will be starting this Friday. Please be in prayer for this exciting new venture.
On a different note I wanted to write in my blog this week about an excellent bible
for kids called, “The Big Picture Story Bible”. Rather than being a collection of lots of
individual Bible stories this Bible tells one continuous story with Jesus at the centre.
The Bible uses its illustrations to trigger the child’s memories of
the many individual Bible stories that they know while keeping them in a larger
Biblical framework. I particularly recommend this bible for children aged 5-10 years.
It is available at the Church Resource centre.

Well it has taken me a while but I have reached the 21st century and am writing
my first ever blog. I can see how it really can be a great tool to assist with
communication so am very grateful for it.
Last week was a particularly exciting week in the life of Children’s Ministry at Church.
With the start of the new term all our Sunday Ev kids classes started their new
programs and Churn began again on Friday. This week is also an exciting week in the
Life of Children’s Ministry as Dale Kerrigan Brown and the Churn team kick off a new
lunch time group at Erina Heights Public school called Tubular. Dale is a scripture
teacher at that school so it is the perfect place to launch this new ministry. It starts
this Friday so I will let you know next week how things go, but in the meantime
please give thanks and pray.
